Humboldt Redwood was formed in 2008 and is working to cultivate a lasting legacy of environmentally responsible forestry, manufacturing, and distribution of top-quality Redwood and Douglas-fir lumber products. The company offers dimensional lumber for timber frame, post-and-beam, industrial, commercial, residential, and outdoor living construction projects. Humboldt Redwood’s forestry operations include 209,300 acres of coast Redwood and Douglas-fir forestlands in Humboldt County, California. Logs from Humboldt Redwood’s forestry operations are manufactured into solid lumber products at the company’s sawmill in Scotia, California. These lumber products are then transported to the company’s distribution centers in Woodland and Fontana, California, where customer orders are processed and shipped. Humboldt Redwood maintains chain-of-custody certification for its sawmill, distribution centers, and its forestry operations through the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®).
